Assistant Engineer (Information Technology)

Pay Scale-15,600-39,100 in Pay Band-3 (Grade Pay-Rs.5,650/-)
N.B.The selected candidates shall be suitably placed in the pay scale of 15,600-39,100(GP 5650/-).
Qualifying Requirement & Experience:

1.For External Candidates & Internal Candidates(excepting Controllers in DVC)

Full time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.) Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science from Recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC)/60% marks (SC/ST) taking average of all the semesters, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular Semester/Year by the Institute /University.
Candidate must have 3 to 5 years experience. The experience will be in any of the following fields:-

System design programming using Java.
JSP / Oracle report builder.
Oracle application server.
Oracle database version 10g(preferably on Linux platform),tuning and performance improvement.
IT Security and knowledge of latest H/W and System S/W Technology.

2. For Controllers in DVC

Graduate in Science
Five years of working experience as a Assist. Controller in IT Cell of DVC.

Age: Maximum 30 Years as on 01.01.2012 for Unreserved/General Candidates.

list of candidates having made ONLINE application will be hosted in DVC website www.dvc.gov.in around 15.00 Hrs on 15.06.2012 showing the date and time slot allotted to the candidates.
All such candidates are required to appear in the Personal Interview (P.I.) before a Selection Board as per time & date shown in the list.
