Date of Entrance Test(BPT/BOT/BPO)
Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to the 1st year of following courses for the academic session 2012-2013. Entrance test for admission will be conducted on 10th June-2012 (Sunday) at Delhi by University of Delhi.
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
- Duration: 4 ½ years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE), provided thecandidate pass each subject separately.
- Bachelor of Occupational therapy(BOT)
- Duration: 4 ½ years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry Biology and English (PCBE), provided the candidate pass each subject separately.
- Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics Biology (BPO)
- Duration: 4 ½ years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry/Mathematics & English(PCBE/PCME), provided
the candidate pass each subject separately.
Eligibility Qualification:
SSC Examination of CBSE or equivalent (10+2) with 50% or more marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/PH and CWAPP category in the aggregate of four subjects viz. PCBE for BPT/BOT and PCBE/PCME for BPO, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. The candidates appearing/appeared in the 10+2 examination may also apply.
The candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination before the year 2009-2010 and have discontinued their regular studies for more than 3 years are not eligible to appear in the entrance test.
Age as on 01.08.2012: Minimum 17 years of age & Maximum of 23 years of age for General Category, 28 years of age in case of SC/ST/PH categoryHOW TO APPLY
The Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained by depositing a pay order/demand draft drawn in favour of
“Director, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped”
payable at New Delhi.Prospectus will be available on sale counter in Accounts Section of Institute between 10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. on all working days.
Application form with Prospectus can also be downloaded from the Institute website.
However, such down loaded application forms should be submitted alongwith a Bank draft of Rs. 550/- for General Category and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST& PH candidates
