ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
The application form and Prospectus for aircraft maintenance engineering course can be obtained from the training academy as well as from the administrative office which is located at:

1. Eligibility for admission into the AME course:
The eligibility for admission into AME course is prescribed by Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, as follows:- 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Graduation with PCM or 03 years duration of Diploma in Engineering or any other equivalent.
- The Age of the candidate should be of 17 years and above at the time of admission.
2. Registration:
Registration is permitted only for the eligible candidates. Eligible candidates will intimate personally through register post / E – mail. Their candidature acceptance letter may also convey by hand if the candidate or any of his representatives personally visits RGAA administrative office.3. Submission of all relevant documents:
Post registration confirmation, the candidates seeking admission should bring the following documents:- Date of Birth certificate (or) Matric (10th) Certificate in original and one attested copy.
- 10 + 2 (PCM) certificate and marks sheet in original and one attested copy.
- 03 years Diploma in engineering certificate, marks memo in original and one attested copy.
- Character certificate from school / college.
- College leaving certificate / school leaving certificate.
- Medical certificate from MBBS doctor for Physical Fitness and Colour vision.
- 05 passport and 03 stamp size recent photographs.
**Note: Original certificates will be returned after verification.
4. Filling up and submission of application form:
- Application forms are to be filled up and signed by the candidate. A duly filled up application form along with all the relevant documents is to be submitted to the administrative department of academy for scrutinization.
- If all the documents are found to be genuine then only candidate will be provisionally admitted into the course.
Applications can be submitted by the candidate personally or by any of his representative at the administrative office with the above requisite documents as prescribed between 1000 to 1700 Hrs on any working day.
5. Admission test and Interview:
- Provisionally admitted students will be subjected to an admission test. The admission test comprises of basic knowledge and understanding of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
- After qualifying admission test the interview will be conducted.
6. Selection of candidates for stream allocation:
Post qualifying the admission test and interview, the provisionally selected candidates for admission into Aircraft maintenance engineering course will be allotted to Mechanical or Avionics stream as per the merit list.Uniform:
For boys & girls: White full sleeve shirt, black trousers, black shoes and black socks.**Note:
- Uniform is to be worn on all days except Saturdays
- Students are to be properly dressed on Saturdays (kurta – pyjama, chappals etc are not permitted)
