The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament (No. 61 of 1956, as amended by act no. 12 of 1987 and Act No.10 of 2006.
In April 1957, it took over the work of former All India Khadi and Village Industries Board.

Accounts Officer
Masters Degree in Commerce from a recognised University.
And
Two years experience in preparation and maintenance of accounts in supervisory or managerial position in the pay scale of Rs.9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- in any department of the Central Government or a State Government or in any recognized Organisation or a Statutory Body.
OR
Bachelors Degree in Commerce from recognized University.
And
Five years experience in preparation and maintenance of accounts in supervisory or managerial position in the pay scale of Rs.9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- in any department of the Central Government or a State Government or in any recognized Organisation or a Statutory Body
Desirable Registered as a Chartered Accountant or a Cost Accountant.
Age Limit for All Positions
Not exceeding thirty five years (Relaxable for the employees of the Central Government and the employees of the Commission upto five years).
Relaxation : SC/ST : By 5 years.
OBC : By 3 years.
PH : By 10 years.(15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC)
Ex-Serviceman: By 3 years in addition to usual period of service in the defence forces subject to maximum age of 50 years.
Accounts Officer
Masters Degree in Commerce from a recognised University.
And
Two years experience in preparation and maintenance of accounts in supervisory or managerial position in the pay scale of Rs.9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- in any department of the Central Government or a State Government or in any recognized Organisation or a Statutory Body.
