Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited is responsible for the coordinated development of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in a most efficient and economical manner. In the discharge of this duty, the Corporation operates its own generating plants including its transmission and distribution network with the help of a work force of about 4000 employees of all ranks.

POSITION DETAILS
Junior Divisional Accountant
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Arts with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
(iii) Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Financial Management.
from any University recognized by the Government of Meghalaya.
SCALE OF PAY: Rs.15,500-350(4)-16,900-460(9)-21040-620(15)-30340/- p.m. plus usual allowance as admissible under Corporation’s rules.
AGE: Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 27 years as on 01.01.2012. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5(five) years in case of ST/SC candidates.
