QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

1. General Manager(Production):-
B.Sc.(Agri.) plus MBA(Agri. Business Management) OR M.Sc.(Agri./Agronomy/Seed Technology) OR Doctorate in Agricultural Science from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 55% * marks.(Desirable 60%). 15 years post qualification experience of working in Agricultural/Mechanized farms/reputed organization in farming, Crop Planning, Seed production, Processing etc. out of which 07 years should be in Sr. Managerial position equal to the scale of pay of Rs.29,100-54,500/- of SFCI Limited and above in Agriculture/Agriculture Engineering Enterprise/Organization. Should have strong leadership qualities/communications skills in the field of Administration, Finance, Vigilance required for handling large workforce. Those working in PSU’s /Govt. should have 02 years experience in next below scale i.e Rs. 32,900-58,500/- OR 05 years experience in the scale of Rs. 29,100-54,500 and above or equivalent in the related fields.

Additional General Manager(Production):-
B.Sc.(Agri.) plus MBA(Agri. Business Management)OR BE/B.Sc./B.Tech.(Agri Engg.) OR M.Sc.(Agri./Agronomy/Seed production/Seed Technology) from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 55% * marks.(Desirable 60%). 12 years post qualification experience of working in Agricultural/Mechanized farms/reputed organization in farming, Crop Planning, Seed production, Processing etc. out of which 05 years should be in Sr. Managerial position equal to the scale of pay of Rs.24,900-50,500/- of SFCI Limited and above in Agriculture/Agriculture Engineering Enterprise/Organization. 2. Assistant General Manager(Marketing)/Manager (Marketing):-
B.Sc.(Agri.) plus MBA(Mktg.)/(Agri. Business Management) OR M.Sc.(Agri.,) from a University/Institution with minimum 55% * marks(Desirable: 60%). 08/06 years post qualification experience of working in Agri./Seeds/Fertilizers and allied organization of repute handling Marketing functions, out of which 04 years should be in a managerial position equal to scale of pay of Rs. 16400-40500/- of SFCI Limited and above/ 04 years should be in a supervisory officer position equal to the scale of pay of Rs. 12600-32500/- of SFCI Limited and above respectively for Assistant General Manager(Marketing)/Manager(Marketing) in Agri./Seeds/Fertilizers and allied organizations. Those working in PSU’s/Govt. should have 02 years experience in next below scale i.e.Rs. 20,600-46,500/-

OR 05 years experience in the scale of Rs. 16,400-40,500/- and above, or equivalent in related field for the post of Asstt. General Manager(Marketing).Similarly, candidates from PSUs/Govt. Organization’s applying for the post of Manager(Marketing)should have 02 years experience in next below scale i.e. Rs. 16,400-40,500/- OR 04 years experience in the scale of Rs. 12,600-32,500/- and above or equivalent in the related field.

3. Assistant General Manager(F&A):-
Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants/Institute of Cost & Works Accountants OR 02 years full time MBA(Finance) with minimum 55% * marks (Desirable: 60%) from a recognized University./Institution. 08 years post qualification experience responsible for handling Finance, Taxes, Balance Sheet and other Accounts functions in large Organization/PSUs, out of which 04 years should be in a Sr. Managerial position equal to scale of pay of Rs. 16,400-40,500/- of SFCI Limited and above in related field. Should have ability to organize independently Finance and Accounts Division including Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Budget preparation in a reputed large organization. 5. Assistant Manager(System):-
BE/B. Tech. in Information Technology/Electronics and Telecommunication/Computer Science with 02 years experience in handling SAP/ERP Departments in independent basis OR having experience in implementing ERP System preferably in multi unit organization. Knowledge of similar ERP packages like BaaN/Oracle etc. shall be added advantage. OR MCA with 04 years experience in handling SAP/ERP departments in independent basis OR having experience in implementing ERP System properly in multi Unit organization . Knowledge of similar packages like BaaN/Oracle etc. shall be added advantage

6. Management Trainee(Engg):-BE/ B.Tech (Agri. Engg.) from recognized University/ Institution with minimum 55% * marks with knowledge of Farm Machinery & Power/ Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/ Seed Processing/ Irrigation and Civil work.

Terms & conditions for Management Trainees:-
On successful completion of training period of one year and satisfactory performance during the training and personal interview, the trainees may be considered for absorption as Assistant Manager(Civil) in the scale of Pay of Rs. 16400-40500/-. Selected candidates have to execute a bond of surety for Rs. 20,000/- to the Corporation on non judicial stamp paper of Rs. 50/- to serve the company for a minimum period of three(3) years after completion of training on absorption. Trainees not absorbed by the Corporation will be given a certificate on completion of training without any obligation on the part of Corporation for future absorption.
Where CGPA/OGPA OR grading system in a degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University/Institution. The candidates will have to Produce copy of these norms with respect to his/her University/Institution at the time of interview.

GENERAL
Application Form may be downloaded from SFCI’s website i.e. www.sfci.nic.in Application complete in all respects along with attested copies of Cerificates/ Testimonials should be sent to the General Manager(HR) at the above mentioned address by post/courier on or before 17.3.2012.
Applications should be sent through proper channel in case the candidates working in Government Department/ PSUs/ Autonomous bodies. While forwarding the application, it may be verified by the Department/ PSU concerned that the particulars furnished by the candidates are correct and no vigilance/ disciplinary case is pending against him/ her. The candidates belonging to General and OBC category are requested to enclose DD/ Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 500/- in favour of State Farms Corporation of India Limited payable at State Bank of India, New Delhi towards application fees. SC/ ST/ /Physically challenged candidates are exempted from application fee. One self attested photograph must be pasted on the space provided in the application form.
Outstation candidates called for interview as per details given below shall be reimbursed single to and fro railway fare by shortest route on production of proof of journey or actual fare whichever is less as per following entitlements subject to production of proof and No Objection Certificate(in case of working in PSUs/Govt./Quasi Govt. Organizations).

* There will be no age/percentage bar for departmental candidates who otherwise meet the prescribed qualifications and experience.
Canvassing in any form or in bringing any influence (applicable or otherwise) will render rejection of application without notice. No routine queries/ correspondence regarding any individual application will be entertained. Persons claiming age relaxation should submit attested copies of appropriate certificates along with the application.
In case of OBC, the Caste Certificate inter-alia must specify that the candidate does not belong to ‘creamy layer’. OBC (NCL) Certificate must be valid one and should be issued on or after1st October, 2011.
 
Candidates must possess required qualification and experience as on 01.03.2012.They must enclose attested copies of mark sheets and pass certificates from Matriculation onwards, caste certificate, experience certificates, Promotion orders, Appointment orders to substantiate the qualification, caste and experience claimed by him .All qualifications should be recognized by Indian Universities/Institutions/recognized by AICTE/UGC/appropriate statutory authority of Govt. of India.

Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria/ norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for test/ interview. Management reserves the right to reject the application without assigning any reason and to raise standard of specifications/percentage of marks to restrict the number of candidates to be called for test/ interview. No of posts can be increased/decreased at the discretion of management. The recruitment process can be cancelled/ suspended/ terminated without assigning any reason. The decision of Management will be final and no appeal will be entertained.

Only those candidates who are shortlisted for appearing in the personal interview will be intimated at the communication address furnished by them in the application form. Applications received after the last date, incomplete or without the required documents/ information/Demand Draft/photograph will not be considered.
